Classic Potato Wedges

Everybody loves potatoes. Homemade potato wedges are always at the top of my list for an easy side to any main dish, and because these are only made with a bit of olive oil they aren't terribly bad for you either. This is a classic, simple crowd pleaser that never ceases to score compliments. So preheat your oven and add these heart-healthy, crispy potatoes onto your next after work dinner!

2 russet potatoes

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

chopped parsley to garnish

Preheat oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Wash potatoes and chop into wedges lengthwise. Pat dry with paper towel and toss in a medium bowl with 1 tbsp olive oil until coated. Add the paprika, garlic powder and onion powder and toss until coated again.

Evenly space wedges on prepared baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway.

Immediately after the potatoes are finished, sprinkle salt on top and toss. Serve with chopped parsley and your favourite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
