Peach season in British Columbia is upon us, and I have mixed feelings. To be honest, I have a love-hate relationship with peaches. The fuzz on peach skin haunts my dreams - I hate it so much. I can't even look at a peach without cringing, but I think fresh, local peaches are some of the tastiest fruits you can buy.
For this recipe I decided to just suck it up and use a fresh, fuzzy peach because the flavour just can't be beat! Just one peach, a banana, vanilla vegan protein powder, cashew milk, and coconut water is all you need in this simple, delcious and summery smoothie recipe.
1 fresh peach, cut into quarters with the pit taken out (leave the skin on)
1 ripe banana
1 scoop vanilla vegan soy, hemp, or pea protein powder
1/2 cup cashew milk
1/2 cup coconut water
Add all ingredients to your favourite blender and blend until smooth. That's it! Enjoy!
